Simply place the alarm behind any door. If an intruder attempts to open the door, the wedge-shaped design will prevent it from opening and activate a 120 dB alarm. The alarm will scare off the would-be intruder and alert you to the attempted entry. An adjustable sensitivity switch prevents tampering. When traveling, just toss this lightweight unit in your luggage. The on/off switch will prevent the unit from accidentally sounding. Requires one 9 volt battery. At only 2 1/2 inches long this economical alarm inconspicuously protects your home from intruders. This unit uses a magnetic sensor to detect the opening of a protected door or window. A 90dB alarm or a chime will then alert you to an attempted entry and scare off potential intruders. The owner may open the window or other protected object, without setting off the alarm by switching the on/off switch to the off position. May also be used within the home to alert parents to children opening a gun or medicine cabinet or used to protect exterior doors, particularly those hard to protect sliding glass doors. The Wireless Motion Detector with remote can be used as a portable alarm or be wall mounted. It can detect motion over an area of 30 feet by 110 degrees. The unit has a 45 second exit delay and a 10-15 second entry delay. This alarm is activated by the PIR sensor. The unit also uses magnetic sensors with 6 feet of wire to detect the opening of a protected door or window. The HS4340D also has a low battery indicator. The alarm is 120 dB; the chime is 85 dB. This alarm measures 4 1/2" x 3" x 1 3/4". The unit's power supply is 3 AA batteries which are not included. Also, an 7.5-15 volt adapter can be used (not included). For example, Radio Shack power adapter model # 273-1768 with tip # 273-1716 will power the unit. Be sure to set the correct tip polarity (incorrect tip polarity can damage the device or adaptor). Read the directions carefully or bring the device into Radio Shack. The remote takes 2-1.5 volt batteries (SR44 or 357A) which are included. This alarm comes with 1 remote.
